Community highlight

This month's community highlight goes to Davidson!!

Davidson has earned this month’s community highlight due to their exceptional contributions to our community. Their continuous effort to build a program that ensures that members of the community have access to resources that inform them about the code review process has been nothing short of amazing!

Davidson, this month's award is for you!! Thank you for being a part of our community and we can’t wait to see what you do with the mob review session! :nemo_techtank: :nemo_techtank:

Spooooky Season 👻

Gratitudes with Nemo /thanks

Last month we released a few new features for Nemo and these features were designed with one goal in mind — We want to provide ways to strengthen community bond!! 💜

We released our thanks feature because we believe in recognizing and celebrating each other's contributions, and that's why we're integrating gratitudes (with a unique twist) directly into Nemo. Within a message or by itself, Simply type !thanks @username or !thanks @username @username, share your reasons for gratitude or give a well-deserved shout-out. You can also thank multiple people at the same time! You can go into any of the public channels, start sharing your thanks and make someone's day!

For you Information

Mob review sessions

Davidson is starting mob review sessions — a synchronous session where members of a group (typically a team) get together to review a PR. Here, authors will be provided with the opportunity to explain their changes and reviewers will have an opportunity to share their thoughts and questions about the PR. So if you have any open PRs feel free to submit them in the #study-tank channel!

Are you interested in giving a talk at one of our TechTalk events?

Fill out the form here and one of our admin team will get back to you
